Gerber Graduates discontinued products?
Hi, does anyone know if Gerber discontinued their Little Flakes toddler cereal? I read on Ebay that they have but on their website they still have it as one of their items. I know they are still selling it at the base commisary but I didn't see any at Walmart when we went yesterday. If it has been discontinued, does anyone know of any cereal that is similar?
I'm eating baby food
Hi all... no, I'm not reverting to my baby days, but I had stomach surgery a few years ago, and lately I have had a lot of stomach problems. It seems I am either getting sick or my stomach hurts. I think if I get one bite of the wrong thing or one bite too much of anything I have problems. So, last night I sent my daughter and her hubby to the store and they picked out some really good baby food made by Gerber. The portions are small, of course and they are bland. It seems my stomach is feeling better already. I had my breakfast of real food, just an egg McMuffin made from home with a wheat English muffin and a slice of cheese and an egg. For lunch I had gerber graduates brand of spaghetti that comes in its own little microwavable bowl. Later I will have a fruit. I am spacing each thing out so that not much is in my stomach at one time. I am feeling better eating this way than eating regular food. It seems that I am always in pain if I get one bite too much and then I am suffering for hours. When I first had the surgery I had to be on baby food for 3 months, if I remember right. Anyway, I have been told that if I start having problems that I...
Throwing Away Wrapped Packaged Food, Not Donating To Hungry Or Needy!?! Why Not?
Ok, I am so angry right now! My toddler likes to eat Gerber Graduates meals and I get them regularly so that I have something nutritional on hand that she will eat, is easy to prepare, and I have just in case she doesn't like dinner. Well, anyway, last night I was packing up the kids' lunches and the only thing my toddler will eat isGerber Graduates Chicken and Mashed Potatoes or the Beef Ravioli meals. They make about 5 other varieties but she will only eat these 2 varieties, with the chicken one being her favorite.Well, I found out she didn't have any so I raced out to Walmart last night while I was sleepy and got 4 packages of them. When I got home and put it in her backpack I saw that I had gotten 4 of the turkey dinners. Well, she will NOT eat this variety, absolutely nothing from it.So, this morning after dropping her off to preschool I went toWalmartto exchange the dinners for the chicken ones. I got through the return process and the cashier put defective tags on every single dinner. Then they destroyed the packaging, etc. I mean I never even removed these items from the bag and they destroyed them![em]angry[/em]I told them there was...
When did you stop feeding your infant jarred baby food?
My daughter is 16 months and I still feed her quite a bit of jarred baby food. I do it because she doesnt have many teeth yet and she tends to swallow things whole instead of gumming them up first. Its also easier to give it to her then to have to grind and cut up regular food. I do give her easy-to-eat regular food as well, like cheese, granola bars, macaroni and cheese, veggie nuggets and so on. Her doctor acts like I shouldnt be giving her any canned food at all except when we are traveling. I dont really see what is wrong with it but I do feel guilty since its like this big no no. My daughter loves anything I give her, canned or not. Why is it bad to give your babies jarred baby food? When did you stop giving baby food to your kids and why?
