I am usually disappointed in the quality, and it rarely seems to matter how little or how much I spend. The stitching often wears out. In some cases, I can sew the shirts back together, but in other cases, once the seam rips, the rip seems to keep going and then the fabric is ripped as well, making the shirt impossible to fix.I also get tired of the fading, and the collars that change colors so they no longer match the shirts. I can't send him to work in a shirt that looks like it is 20 years old (even though it might only be a couple of months old)!The only brand that seems to last is eddie bauer. I was extremely disappointed in the Lands End polos - they made it through about 6 washings (cold water, gentle cycle) before the stitching on the cuff or under the arm wore out. I have a really hard time spending $30 a shirt (sometimes more) when the shirt doesn't even last a couple of months. I watch for Eddie Bauer sales, and I frequently check eddiebaueroutlet.com. | | Do You Save Your Change? | | Just wondering how many of us have change jars, cans, etc. I have several different things full of change. I keep saying I will take it to one of those machines to cash them in, but I never do. I don't know what I will do with the change. I read in a readers digest a year ago about this couple, the wife was fussing at her husband about all his change that he is saving. He went and cashed it in a machine, so instead of paying the fee for using the machine he got a Eddie Bauer gift card. His wife asked him several months later what he spent with his card and he admitted that it got lost. So my point is are we saving all of our change for nothing. | |

no longer be honored after the holidays. There is no law
preventing retailers from selling gift cards, which may
become worthless as early as January 1, 2009.Buyer beware, this practice is referred to as

If you get gift cards, maybe you had better start getting them redeemed as soon as possible. (This means, I had better buy that piano keyboard right after Christmas.

| | What's a good car seat? | | Our little one is getting close to needing a new car seat and we're not sure which one to get. I've heard that the Eddie Bauer (sp) 3 in 1 is pretty good, also the Britax is good too, but it's only for children up to 40lbs.
