Bobby-Another Milestone of a Movie
Yes, this was another movie that I love watching. It is a 'feel good' movie that is full of songs that is so easy to hum along. This is a love story between Raj, a handsome young man and Bobby, a charming lady. I love the scenes in Goa. Can anyone remember this film show which was released in 1973?[em]thumbup[/em][em]thumbup[/em]
Bobby Faly Throw-Down
I was watching Bobby Flay's Throw-Down last night, and it was very entertaining! Bobby Flay went to Harlem for a German Chocolate Cake throw down. He challenged the owner of a bakery that has excellent German Chocolate cake! The lady has gained popularity from sharing and cooking her family's secret recipe, and was busy having a cake party, when Bobby Flay showed up and surprised her! What I didn't know was that German Chocolate Cake is not from Germany, but from A guy with the last name German. I think the guy also has his name on German's Baking Chocolate, too. The show got my mouth watering, as Bobby Flay made his own german chocolate cake. He proceeded to layer the cake with fillings of coconut and pecans, finishing off the cake with a nice topping of ganache sprinkled with toasted coconut and pecans. How I wanted to bi in the audience to taste both cakes to determine the winner! What is great about the Bobby Flay Throw Downs is he also gives the challenger a chance to showcase their restaurant business and get some public exposure, no matter who wins. He is so warm and funny about it, too, as he competes. The next Bobby Flay throw down after that was about brownies. Hmm.. He...
Bobby Flay is awesome!
Last night I stayed up to watch the Food Networks chefography on Bobby Flay. I thought it was so cool, because it showed how Bobby flay become who he is today. I guess her was never big on school, but went to an inclusive cooking school for 6 months. At around the age of 19, he was already managing his own restaurant. He also has many restaurants featuring mexican and south-western flavors, which is really cool! I also found it interesitng that Bobby Flay worked on the New york stock exchange for awhile. He used to have a show called Chilling and Grillin, when the food network was first starting. The concept of the show was to have a city boy like Bobby Flay interact with a country boy, and the two cooks had fun poking at one another. I also didn't know that Bobby Flay was in the Japanese version of Iron Chef. His first competition he didn't win, for he stood upon a cutting board, and that is a big no-no in Japan, for cooking utensils are more sacred there. Bobby said he was simply trying to enthuse the crowd though. I guess Morimoto and Flay squared off one more time, and Bobby Flay won, even if he still stood up on the cutting board afterwards. Now Chef Morimoto and Chef Bobby...
Be Happy! I love this song from Bobby McFerrin

"Bobby Fischer versus Garry Kasparov ..... who will win?"
I am a fan of Bobby Fischer and I was sad that he did not defend his title against Anatoly Karpov for some reasons. I like Garry Kasparov too because of his brilliance. I was just wondering had the two met each other in a chess match, who would have emerged as the winner. Each has a unique style of play which make them both remarkable chessplayers. But, there has to be a winner. Who would that be? We have our own choices, don't we? Yes, I will pick ... Bobby Fischer. I think he has a little more than what Garry Kasparov has. Well, this is my opinion.
A Love Song for Bobby Long ending
Okay, let me just tell you that I absolutely LOVED this movie. It's definitely not for all people, but for those who have been through some kind of hardship in their life, it's totally relatable! I did, however, wish I could truly comprehend Pursy and Lawsons relationship. It doesn't truly give you a direct answer on if they are together or not. In the end, it shows Pursy at the grave of her father and Lawson comes up beside her and takes her hand. Does this mean that they are, in fact, together in a relationship? Or are they just friends? Let me know what you think!
